"It belongs to everyone!" The right to play and well-being in the playground of a Kindergarten

Resumo: The aim of this text is to describe and analyse the intervention process carried out in the playground of a kindergarten (JI) in the city of Lisbon, with the objective of promoting the right to play and fostering social equity among children. We present the partial results of a research project XXXX [name of the project], funded by the Horizon 2020 program of the European Commission. The methodology used includes observation, interviews, and photographs as data collection methods, bringing together the Social Studies of Childhood and Educational Sciences. The presented results highlight the changes and improvements implemented in the kindergarten's playground, with special emphasis on ensuring well-being, the right to play, and promoting children's access to and frequency of use of a quality outdoor space.

Se presentan los resultados parciales de un proyecto de investigación [el nombre del proyecto y la entidad financiadora se incluirán posteriormente, en caso de que el artículo sea aprobado], el cual ha sido financiado por el programa Horizonte 2020 de la Comisión Europea. La metodología empleada comprende la observación, entrevistas y fotografías como medios de recopilación de datos, estableciendo un diálogo entre los Estudios Sociales de la Infancia y las Ciencias de la Educación. Los resultados presentados resaltan los cambios y mejoras implementados en el área de recreo del JI, haciendo especial hincapié en asegurar el bienestar, el derecho al juego, así como en promover el acceso y la frecuencia de los niños a un espacio exterior de calidad.Le présent texte vise à décrire et à analyser le processus d'intervention réalisé dans la cour d'une École Maternelle (JI) de la ville de Lisbonne, dans le but de promouvoir le droit de jouer et l'équité sociale entre les enfants. Les résultats partiels d'un projet de recherche [le nom du projet et l'entité financière seront ultérieurement mentionnés, si l'article est approuvé], financé par le programme Horizon 2020 de la Commission européenne, sont présentés. La méthodologie utilisée comprend l'observation, les entretiens et les photographies comme moyens de collecte de données, établissant un dialogue entre les Études Sociales de l'Enfance et les Sciences de l'Éducation. Les résultats présentés mettent en évidence les changements et les améliorations mises en place dans la cour de l'École Maternelle, en mettant particulièrement l'accent sur la garantie du bien-être, du droit de jouer, de la promotion de l'accès et de la fréquentation des enfants dans un espace extérieur de qualité.Este texto tem como objetivo descrever e analisar o processo de intervenção realizado no recreio de um Jardim de Infância (JI) da cidade de Lisboa com a finalidade de promover o direito a brincar e a equidade social entre crianças. Apresentam-se os resultados parcelares de um projeto de investigação [nome do Projeto e entidade financiadora serão colocados posteriormente, se o artigo for aprovado], financiado pelo Horizonte 2020 da Comissão Europeia.
