Resumo: | The practice of the School Placement is included in the study plan of the 2nd year of the Master in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education at the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto. This opportunity allowed the application of the theory obtained during the academic training. In this document, an attempt is made to describe the evolution of the student-teacher as well as the entire process throughout the school year. The intern was responsible for two classes and also had a practical experience with a 2nd cycle class for two weeks, in which he was responsible for decision-making on behalf of the class and plan-ning. This report is divided into four steps. The first concerns the introduction, in which the purpose and objective of the report is stated. In the second stage, the personal framework is applied, in which the intern's life, professional and aca-demic experiences are reported. This is followed by a framework of professional practice, that is, a portrait at an institutional and professional level, which includes a survey of the context in which the student-intern's practice took place. Finally, carrying out professional practice, in which the three areas of teacher perfor-mance are included: Organization and Management of Teaching and Learning; contribution at school and involvement with colleagues and the research study on the "Importance of teacher-student interaction in Physical Education classes". Not least, the reflection and conclusion that shows the general and final balance of the internship year and the aspirations for the future. In this year of internship, great moments of experiences were provided that improved the intern's identity as a professional as well as the learning of knowledge and skills as an education professional. It was the realization of a great dream, that of teaching and sharing knowledge between teacher and student. |
