O itinerário de uma viagem de um professor estagiário à procura da excelência: para um ensino diferenciado em Educação Física

Resumo: This document is part of the Professional Internship, a curricular unit present in the 2nd cycle of a Physical Education Teacher Education Programme, inserted at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto. Here, the supervised teaching practice is reported, by describing and reflecting all the experiences lived as a Pre-service Teacher. This report is organized into 5 chapters. The first, the "introduction", contextualizes the present document, where relevant information to its understanding is listed. The second, the "Personal Background", refers to my own presentation, my expectations regarding the whole process and my clash with reality. In the third chapter, the "Professional Practice Framework", characteristics about the context in which the teaching practice took place, such as the analysis and characterization of the cooperating school and all the stakeholders that are part of the community are presented. The fourth refers to the "Professional Practice Realization", where some considered essential concepts to the practice are announced. This one is divided into three subthemes: organization and management of teaching and learning, participation in school and relations with the community. Finally, the Professional Development, which includes the action-research study on "Sport Education implementation impact on motivation indexes and effort and satisfaction perception: relation between an intra and inter class program". The fifth chapter refers to the "Conclusion and future perspectives", which highlights the latest repairs about the entire process developed during the professional internship, as well as my future ambitions.
