O estudo prop?e analisar pol?ticas e estrat?gias para preven??o e enfrentamento em Portugal e no Brasil, em rela??o aos objetivos, a??es e recomenda??es, sem a pretens?o de comparar os pa?ses. A metodologia foi qualitativa do tipo documental, a partir da revis?o de literatura e pesquisa em documentos oficiais publicados na internet de 2010 a 2020. A an?lise dos dados deu-se pela an?lise de conte?do na perspectiva de Bardin. Foram encontrados 32 documentos de Portugal e Brasil. Os resultados identificaram: os pa?ses t?m as esferas p?blica e privada intervindo, por?m Portugal ainda possui uma interfer?ncia maior do que o Brasil da esfera privada (sem fins lucrativos). Os dois pa?ses pretendem amplos objetivos como aprimorar a qualidade dos servi?os ofertados ?s mulheres, gerar informa??es, avaliar as pol?ticas em execu??o, investigar a problem?tica, or?amento p?blico e a preocupa??o com o aumento de casos no contexto da pandemia do COVID-19. O Brasil tem uma pol?tica nacional estruturada e vem priorizando a??es para o ?Enfrentamento e Combate?, ?Assist?ncia? e ?Acesso e Garantia de Direitos". Quanto ?s recomenda??es, houve equil?brio em rela??o aos eixos estruturantes da Pol?tica Nacional. Portugal possui planos de a??o que s?o periodicamente reavaliados e contemplam acordos europeus. Na ?ltima d?cada vem privilegiando a??es de ?Protec??o?, ?Preven??o? e ?Suporte?. As recomenda??es nos documentos portugueses enfatizaram a ?Protec??o? e n?o foram encontradas recomenda??es relacionadas ? ?Acusa??o?. As pol?ticas de Brasil e Portugal deveriam incluir as mulheres v?timas de viol?ncia no planeamento das a??es para preven??o e enfrentamento, possibilitando maior di?logo, autonomia e inclus?o da diversidade e suas pautas espec?ficas. Se faz necess?rio atentar para que n?o haja dissocia??o da luta da classe trabalhadora, a qual, ao longo da hist?ria, vem reivindicando melhores condi??es de vida e trabalho para todos. / Research on Domestic Violence against Women is of utmost importance. The study proposes to analyze policies and strategies for prevention and coping in Portugal and Brazil, regarding the objectives, actions and recommendations without the intention of comparing them. Methodology: qualitative documentary type, from the literature review and research in official documents published on the internet from 2010 to 2020. Data analysis was done through content analysis from Bardin's perspective. 32 documents were found from Portugal and Brazil. The results identified: countries have public and private spheres intervening, but Portugal still has a greater interference than Brazil in the private sphere (non-profit). The two countries intend broad goals such as improving the quality of services offered to women, generating information and concentrating it, evaluating the policies being implemented, investigating the problem, the public budget and also the concern with the increase of cases in the context of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. COVID-19. Brazil has a structured national policy and has been prioritizing actions for "Confrontation and Combat", "Assistance" and "Access and Guarantee of Rights". As for the recommendations, there was balance in relation to the structuring axes of the National Policy. Portugal has plans for actions that are periodically reassessed and contemplate European agreements In the last decade, it has been privileging actions of ?Protection?, ?Prevention? and ?Support.? The recommendations in the Portuguese documents emphasized ?Protection? and there were no recommendations related to ?Accusation?. The policies of Brazil and Portugal should include women victims of domestic violence in the planning of actions for prevention and coping, enabling greater dialogue, autonomy and inclusion of the diversity of women and their specific guidelines. We must ensure that there is no dissociation from the struggle of the working class, which throughout history has been demanding better living and working conditions for all.
