The construction of the state's enclosure circle

Through two participant observations collected during fieldwork in a study of political activity lived as a profession, this article explores the State - society dichotomy, supported by the legitimate and illegitimate, the possible and impossible, the acceptable and not acceptable, as manifest mechanisms of the functional abilities of the closure of the State, expressed in the principle of pure respect for the symbolic order, extensively corroborated by officials in separation practices with recourse to extra-legal grounds. Both circumstances present a scenario that gives existence to a notion of the state disconnected from its original condition, i.e. society. A paradox emerges with respect to the meaning of who produces whom, and thus the state emerges as naturating nature, thus undoing its naturated nature. In this hierarchy, an inversion emerges which removes power from the societal base. Installed as an entity of power eternally delegated to itself, the state emerges as a novel aggregation whose legitimacy overflows and is hyperbolised in relation to the society which gives it origin.
