Resumo: | The tourism sector is very diverse and covers several areas that require that the training of students is adapted to each one of them. At the end of a degree it is necessary that students have skills that enable them to easily adapt to any of the areas of the sector. For this purpose, different teaching and learning approaches can be adopted, in order to maximize the educational potential of the students. The present work aims to give some account of strategies adopted in higher education in Tourism courses. Thus, the aim of this work is, through a literature review, to understand how international institutions have used digital tools, contributing to the approach to the requirements of the labour market and to the development of digital competence. The analysis conducted, concludes that teachers implement different strategies in the teaching of tourism worldwide, although these studies are scarce, considering the existing resources. |

O setor turístico contempla diversas áreas de ação que exigem que a formação dos alunos que irão ingressar no mercado de trabalho seja adaptada a cada uma delas. No final de uma licenciatura é necessário que os alunos possuam competências que lhes permitam uma fácil adaptação a qualquer uma das áreas do setor. Para o efeito, diferentes abordagens de lecionação podem ser adotadas, de modo a maximizar o potencial formativo dos alunos. O presente trabalho pretende dar conta de algumas estratégias adotadas no Ensino Superior em cursos de Turismo. Deste modo, através de uma revisão da literatura, pretende-se compreender de que modo as instituições, a nível internacional, têm utilizado ferramentas digitais, contribuindo para a aproximação às exigências do mercado de trabalho e para o desenvolvimento da competência digital. Da análise efetuada, conclui-se que os docentes implementam diferentes estratégias no ensino do Turismo, apesar de os estudos serem ainda parcos tendo em consideração os recursos existentes.
