Resumo: This study aims to present the first critical approaches to the relationship between education, poverty, and development in the agendas of multilateral organizations manifested in Vale do Juruá, Acre (Brazil). In this investigation, we used documents from multilateral organizations and the state of Acre (Brazil) as a data source and also developed a bibliographic study. We used a dialectical method for this analysis, in which the data created categories that reached the results found in the recurrences and specificities established in the concepts, standards, and relationships, which revealed systems of categorical meanings. Through this study, we observed the connections that characterize the influence that are consolidated in Vale do Juruá, Acre (Brazil) in the relationships between education, poverty, and development. In the examination, the actions of the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the German Development Bank stand out, which, through their agendas, promote a development model and, particularly through Florestania, point to the Acre Sustainable Development Program, the Program for Social Inclusion and Sustainable Economic Development of the State of Acre and the Program for Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation with Socio-environmental Benefits for Pioneers in Acre, to the center-periphery logic of subalternity of poor/underdeveloped countries to developed ones, in a connection facilitated to international market mechanisms.
