Resumo: This report portrays my entire experience during the 2nd year of the 2nd cycle in Teaching Physical Education in Basic and Secondary Education at the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto, which took place throughout the 2022/2023 academic year. I seek to transmit all my experience as a teacher (intern) in the school environment, putting into practice all the knowledge previously acquired in my initial training. The professional internship incorporates two development components, namely, supervised teaching practice, carried out in a cooperating school, under the guidance of a cooperating teacher, and the internship report prepared with the guidance of the supervising teacher. This internship report is divided into three areas, namely, the personal dimension, the framework of pedagogical practice and the carrying out of professional practice. It thus seeks to present a reflection on the experiences acquired throughout the professional internship, reporting the significant learning achieved, as well as the teaching methodologies and strategies based on and used in its implementation. It also incorporates a research study developed throughout this experience on the relationship between the practice of physical exercise and healthy lifestyle habits, which allowed me to deepen my knowledge both in terms of my teaching context and in relation to use of the scientific method.
