As part of the second year internship of the Master's Degree in Sports Training in the field of Training for Children and Youth People of the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto, this internship report aims to describe in detail how all the work done during the season 2018/2019 in (sub13) and (sub15) of the Football School of Geração Benfica de Matosinhos. The internship gave me new experiences, which greatly contributed to my personal and professional training. The experiences provided during my internship took place in different areas of intervention, particularly in the training area, where I followed the coaches in the development of their activity in order to operationalize the planned exercises. The teams that I followed and for I which conceived training included children born between 2005 and 2007. The objectives that I defined at the beginning of the academic year for this professional stage were mostly realized. The training methodology adopted by this Football School has as main objectives transmit to the students the principles of the game through played forms and to stimulate the students in a guided discovery. In this training model, physical factors are much sought after, as well as technical, tactical and psychological factors, without ever neglecting socialization. The coach must show great dedication, commitment and safety in his work, as these aspects are central to those who work with children and youth people. It is also important to know how to apply and adapt the communication to this specific population in order to motivate the children and that this can be a facilitating element for the transmission of the intended messages and for the fulfillment of the objectives outlined. Throughout this process of my training I was confronted with experiences that put to the test my skills and knowledge, and it was through these same experiences that I acquired new knowledge that today makes me a more qualified and competent person in the world of sport, as a future coach.
