Resumo: | Like all sports, football has benefited from a number of developments from a wide range of areas, particularly in the sports sciences. The football coach is obliged to follow the growth verified in his modality, meaning it is no longer plausible that the competence of the coach is merely associated with the tactical and technical aspects of the modality. The coach's competence is increasingly being applied in a wide-range intervention plan, either directly, or simply as a monitor. This professional internship report was developed within the 2nd cycle in Sports Training, specializing in High Performance Training of the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto with its primary objective being the presentation of multidisciplinary intervention work developed throughout a sports season. When putting this internship report into perspective, according to a descriptive and reflective matrix, rather than describing a multidisciplinary intervention, it emphasizes the need to reflect on it.Although the interventional nature does not extend to the large range of functionalities existing in today's football, the existing functional diversity highlights the difficulty and need for the eclectic development required of the current football coach. The reflective nature is applied to tasks directed to the development of the physical component of the players, to the analysis and observation of footballers and to the interventive performance within the context of training and competition.By undergoing this internship i have been made aware that there is currently an increasing demand for knowledge and multidisciplinary competence on behalf of the coach, which means even more responsibility in a profession that already entails so much. As a whole, this experience has confirmed that the search for interventional eclecticism consolidates the premise that the coach will always be an unfinished conceptual figure. |
