Atualmente, não basta que as empresas tenham sistemas de informação que simplesmente armazenem uma grande quantidade de dados. Portanto, é necessário ter alguma capacidade de análise relevante e oportuna sobre os dados armazenados, abrindo espaço para o BI. Business Intelligence (BI), é um conjunto de ferramentas que permite a todos em uma organização o acesso de forma rápida e fácil de qualquer dado na empresa, ajudando-os a tomar decisões inteligentes e eficazes. O principal objetivo deste estágio foi implementar e desenvolver processos de Extraction-Transformation-Loading (ETL) que efetuam grandes transformações aos dados provenientes do Koolsite -sistema Generali para o sistema Cogen -sistema Tranquilidade por forma a ter um sistema único que permitisse ser mais simples e eficientes e de fácil acesso aos utilizadores finais. Este relatório começa apresentando o contexto e os objetivos, seguido pela descrição detalhada do contexto do problema. Em seguida, é apresentada a Revisão da Literatura seguida da metodologia e Ferramentas utilizadas. Para finalizar, é apresentado as Atividades Desenvolvidas, a Conclusão e a Bibliografia.The development and exponential evolution of information technologies at the end of the 20th century and in the present 21st century have become progressively unpredictable, creating this way a very strong dynamism in the business environment, benefiting those who have followed this growth. Currently, it is not enough for companies to have information systems that simply store a large amount of data. Therefore, it is necessary to have some relevant and timely analysis capacity on the stored data, making room for BI. Business Intelligence (BI) is a set of tools that enables everyone throughout an organization to quickly and easily access any data in the enterprise helping them to make smart and effective decisions. The goal of this Internship report was to implement and develop Extraction-Transformation-Loading (ETL) processes to integrate the data coming from the Koolsite - Generali system for the Cogen system - Tranquilidade system in order to have a single system that would allow it to be simpler efficient and easily accessible to end users. This report starts by introducing the context and goals, followed by the detailed description of the background and the problem context. After it, is presented the Literature Review followed with the methodology and Tools used.
