Resumo: The article focuses on understanding certain processes of the artistic occupation from the return of the democracy in 1983 in the Republic Argentina cutting the study away to the City of Buenos Aires. The methodological work was of qualitative ethnographic cut (primary and secondary sources) on artists who compose the cultural field self-managed.

The methodological work was of qualitative ethnographic cut (primary and secondary sources) on artists who compose the cultural field self-managed.El artículo aborda determinadas valoraciones sobre los procesos y condiciones de producción del quehacer artístico denominado por los actores sociales como “independiente” desde el retorno de la democracia en 1983 en la República Argentina recortando el estudio a la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. El trabajo metodológico fue de corte cualitativo etnográfico sobre el campo cultural autogestivo. Las experiencias analizadas en sus modalidades de producción cultural se encuentran signadas por el intento de contrarrestar, incluso sin proponérselo, ciertas hegemonías de un mercado cultural altamente competitivo. En esta ponencia, entonces, se reflexionará sobre ciertas problemáticas en torno al arte y a un modo particular de gestión cultural.
