"A grande viagem ao centro da educação: na busca por ser um professor criativo, fundamentado e exemplar"

Resumo: | This report was written as part of the Professional Internship proposed in the last year of the Master's Degree in Teaching of Physical Education, at the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto. This internship aims to give the intern student references and experiences of the future profession, preparing him through an anticipatory socialization to the profession. This document reflects the experiences of this year, the problems, and the learnings of my internship year, and presents my evolution as a pre-service teacher. In a more playful way, this document portrays all the experiences of a train on its track, the characteristics of the landscapes, what were hopes and destinations, and the marks of the journey over time. Its driving forces, the parts it was made of, its coal and energy, and the way it developed its journey. From the way I planned personal and professional goals, the strategies used, and all the literature behind each decision. My conception of teaching has always been a constructivist conception, which encourages autonomy and holistic development of students, much because I see physical education as the ideal place for the development of the human being as a whole. The initial shock was to develop an image of a leader teacher, who controlled the climate of the class and the students' motivations. The journey unfolded in such a way that I started to realize that it was not in permissiveness that a good development of the classes was to be found, but in building a good class environment and a trusting relationship with my students. I tried not to look at this pandemic year as a disadvantage, but as a variable that could be circumvented, so that it would not be a report justified by the lack of alternatives, a year that I always tried to be as creative and dedicated as possible, within the imposed limitations by the pandemic situation. |
