Arte na escola : um espaço de inclusão

O presente trabalho de investigação insere-se no Mestrado em Criação Artística Contemporânea, ministrado pela Universidade de Aveiro, tendo como objectivo a aplicação da criação artística contemporânea ao contexto da educação artística em projectos, ao nível do 3.º ciclo do ensino básico. O território do artístico é o território do humano, é o homem que faz arte, enquanto artista, público ou fruidor. Quais os novos predicados que as obras e/ou “projecto estético-artístico” contemporâneos podem acrescentar ao “mundo da arte”? E como podem esses conteúdos ser abordados em contexto educativo? Este estudo apresenta, ao nível da sua estrutura de desenvolvimento, quatro partes principais: (I) Arte e emoção; (II) Arte, criação e imaginação; (III) Metodologia aplicada; (IV) Estudo desenvolvido. Esta organização pretende estabelecer um fio condutor no sentido da argumentação a favor da proposição apresentada, transportando-nos da arte como manifestação do conhecimento colectivo através do produto individual, até a instrumentalização possível desse conhecimento em contexto educativo. Na primeira parte (“Arte e emoção”) são apresentadas algumas abordagens teóricas, modernas e pós-modernas, em áreas como a arte, a estética, a psicologia e a neorobiologia, para estabelecer um enquadramento teórico para o conceito de “atitude estética”. Na segunda parte (“Arte, criação e expressão”) abordam-se alguns modelos e metodologias do domínio da arte terapia, com especial incidência nos mediadores artísticos e nos temas. Pretende-se desta forma demonstrar algumas das possibilidades de aplicação pedagógica destes modelos e metodologias. Na terceira parte (“Metodologia aplicada”) argumenta-se a favor de uma perspectiva transdisciplinar na “educação artística”, que traga para primeiro plano a “atitude estética” e o seu potencial ao nível do desenvolvimento de competências criativas e sociais. Na quarta parte (“Estudo desenvolvido”) apresenta-se o projecto “Viagens” que esteve na origem da acção pedagógica que pretendeu verificar, na prática, os princípios delineados neste trabalho. Finalmente apresentam-se as conclusões deste estudo e traçam-se caminhos para novas investigações. ABSTRACT: This current study was developed was designed to investigate contemporary artistic creation within the context of artistic education in the 3rd cycle of basic education. The territory of the artistic is the territory of humankind; only humans do art, either as artists, fruitioners or audiences. What are the new predicates that contemporary works and/or ‘aesthetic and artistic projects’ can bring to ‘the world of art’? How can those contents be approached within the educational context? As far as its unfolding structure is concerned, this study is divided in four main parts: (I) Art and emotion; (II) Art, creation and expression; (III) Applied methodology; (IV) Developed study. This framing is intended to construct a logical line of argumentation in favour of the research proposition, departing from the concept of art as a manifestation of the colective knowledge through individual production, towards the potential use of that same knowledge within the educational context. The first part (“Art and emotion”) presents a number of modern and postmodern theoretical approaches in subject areas such as art, aesthetics, psychology and neurobiology, in order to frame the concept of ‘aesthetic attitude’. The second part (‘Art, creation and expression´) focuses on selected models and methodologies in the field of art therapy, with a special emphasis on the artistic mediators and the themes. This elaboration is expected to demonstrate some possible pedagogical applications of these models and methodologies. The third part (‘Applied methodology’) displays arguments in favour of a transdisciplinary perspective in the domain of ‘artistic education’, which can bring to the forefront the ‘aesthetic attitude’ and its potential as far as the development of creative and social competences is concerned. The fourth part (‘Developed study’) introduces the project ‘Viagens’ which was the source of the pedagogical field work that aimed at verifying the premisses outlined in this work. In the last section, the main conclusions of this study are drawn and paths for future research are proposed.
