With a whole pandemic happening in the last few years, this technological world became even more evident and, in some cases, essential to save businesses and companies, one example of that was the massive use of telework which will be addressed in this study. However, this increased use of technology can also have negative impacts and affect society in general, such as the massive addiction to information technology (IT). For this motive, this document presents our research that aims to analyze the impact of IT addiction, more specifically the problematic use of social networking sites, in telework. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) method was used to create the research model and evaluate the hypothesis.
