This research aims to gain theoretical and managerial insights on the impact of remote work on individuals. Based on a sample of 405 participants, this work reveals that working from home is a significant predictor of well-being and work productivity. In addition, job stress created an important paradox for remote working: from one side it significantly improved one’s productivity, but it did not affect well-being. Job Meaningfulness was initially included in the model, but did not reach significance, although further studies should focus on this construct. Finally, personal outcomes expectations proved to play an important role in the achievement of well-being and productivity. The findings have key implications for the literature and for managers on remote work in post-pandemic times.Shuqair, SalehPinto, Diego CostaRUNSaad, Carolina Waked2022-03-16T16:43:16Z2022-01-242022-01-24T00:00:00Zinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisapplication/pdfhttp://hdl.handle.net/10362/134633TID:202958906enginfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal (Repositórios Cientìficos)instname:Agência para a Sociedade do Conhecimento (UMIC) - FCT - Sociedade da Informaçãoinstacron:RCAAP2024-03-11T05:13:06Zoai:run.unl.pt:10362/134633Portal AgregadorONGhttps://www.rcaap.pt/oai/openaireopendoar:71602024-03-20T03:48:11.234530Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal (Repositórios Cientìficos) - Agência para a Sociedade do Conhecimento (UMIC) - FCT - Sociedade da Informaçãofalse
