Resumo: In the current dance scene in which the dancer has assumed a different role in the creative process by becoming technically versatile, artistically creative and ‘creatively collaborative’, this work aimed to research the impact of a collaborative pedagogical practice among the teacher, the musician and the students. As Burrows (2010) argues, this will promote the consolidation of learning and creative processes that are so important in 21st Century Dance.With the purpose / objective of working the movement in its relationship with music, a workshop was conducted and directed at dance professionals and students.The research methodology used was based on the principles of Practice-led Research.The analysis of the collected data indicates very positive results regarding the effectiveness of this collaborative pedagogical practice, in the consolidation of the development of artistic and technical skills resulting from a greater musical awareness in the context of Dance education.
