This dissertation is motivated by the opportunity and explore a project solution for the urban reorganization of the "Antas detail project" in the city of Porto. A place with a maximum potential for a green urban development and study in a city of great population concentration. It is in this territory that it retains a great asset value for the city, as well as also supports a vast historical knowledge in what is the urban evolution in a concentrated city, and with a large rate of residential growth, particularly in this territory of Antas. This object of great patrimonial value is the House and "Quinta dos Salgueiros", a construction dating from the eighteenth century, and with a rich cultural history, not only in its internal gardens, but also in its own architecture. Today this architectural object remains in oblivion, now part as an object in ruin in a vast abandoned garden, disqualified, in speculation, waiting for an opening, of something that will bring it back to its glory days. The objective of this intervention goes beyond the combination of an absolute solution for "Quinta de Salgueiros", since this work intends to walk around several issues that can be applied in different ways, and develop a critical thought in relation to the site, throughout this dissertation. The work adopts a speculative posture that explores and relates the real, with the design indications planned for this area. It is in this way that the proposal of intervention present in this dissertation has a concentration in the area that saves the planning of a future urban park for the territory of Antas. Thus, there is not only a concentration between the delimitations of the Quinta, but in the entire associated block, as well as some expectant lands around it, which also carry a potential to be related to the green intervention that is expected for that territory. Thus, there is a clear correlation between the various scales of intended intervention: the urban scale; block scale; scale of the Quinta, and finally the scale of the house, which explores the way of thinking and building between the context and the architectural object itself. This idea of the project appears with the purpose of reconfiguring a piece of history in an existing place, creating new readings and reinventing it, thus giving new activities that suit the current times.
