The work is the result of a reflection on the practical project for the rehabilitation of a building of century beginnings. XIX and retraining throughout the fifth in which it is inserted. The intention is to the opening of the fifth to the outside, allowing interaction with the place where it is located - Verdemilho the outskirts of Aveiro. Having been chosen for this purpose, a program guest houses, the text content will focus on the link between this issue and the intervention in built heritage. To serve the purpose of rehabilitation and upgrading of the study area, intervention You will have to go through the improvement of living conditions of the buildings existing, providing them with conditions that allow the implementation of new programs. It is necessary to study the resulting problems, ranging from issues confrontational language on issues relating to feasibility conditions of their own programs to propose. The structural compatibility issues are not addressed, as I understand that the need for a kind of knowledge and experience that still do not own, in such a sensitive area as this point is the rehabilitation of buildings. Thus, the study for this work is presented as a working draft, especially in formal and functional resolution perspective of the interior spaces and exteriors. To do this, interests understand the concepts inherent in intervention in heritage built, what the possible positions in the face of pre-existence and what kinds of dialogues can be established with this, to confront the reflections resulting with my project itself. The building of the study and their "circumstances" is also a inevitability, as only knowing their language, the weight of context, will be possible to design a proposal sense. The work aims, above all, reflect a personal experience.
