However, they do not always provide information on the energy usage of appliances and equipment. When applied in buildings, its lack of visibility and the increased complexity in monitoring can be problematic. On the other hand, Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) offer comprehensive statistics on building energy usage, although their interface can be overwhelming and does not represent the building’s internal structure. To address these limitations, we created a user interface that presents a view of the internal organization of a building and displays information for aggregate and disaggregate analysis, enabling monitoring and controlling all energyconsuming devices in any building. It features an assessment tool for household appliances with graph-based visualization, allowing users to better understand their building’s performance over time. Additionally, it will change the indoor environment based on provided user feedback. Our work is integrated into Work Package 5 (WP5) of the SATO project, which is responsible for developing the user interface for the SATO platform. The user interface was materialized using the Meteor Framework integrated with the ReactJS library, following an iterative design approach and mobile-first design strategy. This approach involved creating and testing multiple design versions to identify and address potential issues and enhance the overall user experience, ensuring the design fulfils the desired objectives.
