Resumo: The issue of the refugees and migrants can be also discussed theologically, within the context of a Social Christian Ethics. In this light it is possible to identify a violent way to include refugees and migrants that is completely unacceptable. A second possibility consists in their inclusion through the means of a simple juxtaposition. A theological view, based in the biblical tradition and in the so called “phenomenology of life”, proposes an inclusion of arriving populations by the recognition of a common soil of origin and destiny of all human beings.

A esta luz, fica em evidência um contexto inaceitável no tratamento dos refugiados e migrantes, caracterizado pela tentativa de incluir o diferente pela violência. Mostra-se também um contexto imperfeito de inclusão do migrante e do refugiado pela justaposição do diferente.
