Resumo: | "As an architect you design for the present, with an awareness of the past, for a future which is essentially unknown." One way to solve the problem of urban segregation in the peripheral areas of the city is to understand the history of the formation of these cities and to understand the urban planning measures that have been used over time. The analysis becomes complete after studying the real politics and the distribution of the essential functions of a city. After this use, you can define a set of possible solutions, in the short term and those that allow the construction of strategies, a long term, using the examples that work in pollution situations, in order to combat the problem of uncharacterisation of housing in certain zones. In the first part of the work, housing must be seen as a whole, due to the harmonious interaction of the usual function with the place it occupies, the second part of the work remains as a specific relationship between the House and the Man. Through an analytical vision, there is an increase of the understanding between the ideal shape of the house, through the synthesis of the shape due to its functional essence - the primitive hut - for this, it will be necessary to understand the interactions and development of housing values. Throughout the second half of the twentieth century, until today, the understanding of how architecture should serve the user, in an increasingly different society, the level of familiarity and even the new ways of living, requires an exercise of flexibility in terms of program, where an extraction of modern movements appears as essential values of living. In order to combine the vanguard of habitability with the spirit of the place, seen as examples of the organic arquitecture, as well as the sensitivity of the traditional values of Portuguese modernism. A research is rehearsed through a practical case of the last generation - my grandfather's house, which according to a rehabilitation proposal calls for thematic approaches to design that include spatial fluidity, dignification of spaces and programmatic flexibility. The proposal involves an attempt to outline a strategy for the revitalization of two houses in a peripheral area, that are now functionally distorted. The desire to restore a house full of personal memories, encouraged a global awareness about the current state of housing, in an attempt to give direction to a problem that tends to increase its proportions. |
