Resumo: This Internship Report is a fundamental document of reflection and criticism on the seas sailed until the end of the professional internship, carried out in the academic year of 2022/2023, at the Pedrouços Primary and Secondary School. It addresses the difficulties experienced during the Supervised Teaching Practice and the future prospects at the start of the profession of Physical Education Teacher. Throughout the report, analogies are made with the Age of Discovery, in the way that the trainee, like the navigators, faced the unknown seas in search of professional and personal development. The beliefs, aversions and experiences in the quest to promote a quality Physical Education are also reflected upon. It discusses the different school contexts the trainee has experienced and how he has evolved with his teaching experiences. The trainee highlights the humanistic and holistic skills needed for a young person to enter society safely and with the ability to thrive in the future, and to do this uses teaching models that highlight the importance of placing the student at the center of the teaching-learning process. The socio-affective domain was preponderant during the internship, especially with regard to students' behavioral skills. An intervention program was implemented that highlights the relevance of a democratic approach in promoting behavioral adjustments and corrections to promote a positive school environment that ensures the inclusion of all students and enhances the teaching-learning process.
