Resumo: This paper aimed to provide an analysis of the current trends and challenges of theAutomotiveIndustryandidentifythemaindriversoftransformationwithinthesector.Thefirstpartwasbasedoneconomicfigures,theimportanceoftheindustry,anditsevolution.Furthermore,digitaltrendsintheindustrywereidentifiedandledtoanoverviewthatservedasbackground for the further investigation of six different topics, providing a recommendation plan for Original Equipment Manufacturers to hurdle the future challenges.
