Resumo: Nowadays, the IoT panorama faces a great obstacle in establishing a global ecosystem, due to the emergence of a number of data standards created to fit the needs of di↵erent use cases and/or industries. In the Smart Cities scenario it is now clear that paving the way for the interoperability of di↵erent vertical solutions is an absolute necessity in order to make them truly intelligent. It is in the interest of this dissertation to take a developed implementation of a vertical IoT solution and enable the integration of third-party applications in a transparent way.
