[advanced online publication on 29 may 2018]. doi: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.chb.2018.05.039Digital divide, the differential in access and use of information and communication technologies (ICT) represents an obstacle to the information society. This study proposes a new theoretical model based on the extended unified theory of acceptance, and use of technology (UTAUT2), Schwartz's basic values and ICT skills to explore the role of values on ICT acceptance and, examine how these factors explain the digital divide. The research model was tested in the context of a sub-Saharan country (Angola).
