The 15-minute city concept proposed in 2016 by the scientist Carlos Moreno comes as a way to achieve that goal by improving sustainable accessibility in urban spaces through proximity-based planning. Ultimately, the goal is to promote space-time efficiency, sustainability, and well-being. Aiming to support this urban ideal, the present study proposes a model to evaluate the municipality of Lisbon against a 15-minute city by employing an innovative accessibility mapping model. The purpose of the model is to investigate Lisbon’s potential to become a 15-minute city and, ultimately, to aid governors and urban planners in supporting its redesign, as well as to inform citizens about nearby services of interest. In this study, a comprehensive investigation was conducted on the most significant 15-minute cityrelated topics, followed by the creation of a framework based on essential urban amenities that must be accessible within a walking or cycling distance of 15 minutes.
