Resumo: Laws of UX book description: “An understanding of psychology—specifically the psychology behind how users behave and interact with digital interfaces is perhaps the single most valuable nondesign skill a designer can have. The most elegant design can fail if it forces users to conform to the design rather than working within the “blueprint” of how humans perceive and process the world around them. This practical guide explains how you can apply key principles in psychology to build products and experiences that are more intuitive and human-centered.” Laws of UX, have as subtitle “using psychology to design better products & services”. Psychology is transversal to every human, thus can be applied not only on digital experiences, but to any design. It is on this mind set that the Considerations between UX Heuristics and Physical Space are made. “A heuristic technique, or a heuristic, is any approach to problem solving or self-discovery that employs a practical method that is not guaranteed to be optimal, perfect, or rational, but is nevertheless sufficient for reaching an immediate, short-term goal or approximation.” (from Wikipedia). Thus also heuristics as a technique is agnostic in terms of digital or non digital usage.Nevertheless the generic applicable ideas, there are some specific heuristics that, maybe, can be good for doing the example of the transition between digital and analog worlds, in terms of UX heuristics.
