Resumo: In the 2009-2010 season Antigone was played in Teatro Nacional de São João, Oporto. This text aims to report the experience of translation of Greek Tragedy to the stage and to analyse some aspects of the dramaturgy, defending the need for a close collaborative working between translator, director, actors and others responsible for the production of the show.
