Resumo: The preparation of this Internship Report follows the school placement, integrated in the Second Cycle in Physical Education Teaching in the Basic and Secondary Education of the Faculty of Sports of the University of Porto. It is a unique and authentic document, with real teachers and students, which enable the experience of the profession. This report reflects the entire journey and personal construction experienced during this internship year. This supervised teaching practice took place in two schools in the municipality of Valongo, where I taught a class of 10th and 6th year. The 6th year class was shared with my internship colleague. This entire process was supervised by two professors, the Cooperating Professor, and an Advisor Professor. This internship report uses a metaphor about the different stages of the transformation of a butterfly, that is, metamorphosis, because like these animals I think that we human beings have also undergone various transformations during our life. The report is divided into 6 major areas, the first is the introduction; The second, entitled as the egg phase, where my biography is developed, the academic path and also my initial expectations regarding the Internship; The third is the caterpillar phase, where I fit all the involvement of my internship, that is, the school, the cooperating teacher, the guiding teacher, the students, the internship group and the physical education group; The third part refers to the development within the chrysalis, which depicts all the practice that I developed in the teaching-learning process in this school year, as well as its planning, design and evaluation; The fifth is the opening of the chrysalis where I present moments of my participation in the school and community; The sixth is the butterfly where I refer to the whole process and express my expectations for the future. In fact, this year transformed the Trainee Student, being a remarkable year in her training.
