Resumo: | The Professional Internship represents the final stage of the initiation in the professional role of a teacher, included in the study plan of the Master's degree in Physical Education Teaching in the Basic and Secondary School. The Professional Internship represents, simultaneously, the finish line of an tireless discovery of knowledge and awareness, and a stepping stone for a never-ending journey of professional and personal growth. Hence, the present Internship Report aims to show the lived experiences under a real school context, performed in a partnering school in the Porto district, and the inherent reflections, lessons, difficulties and emotions that result from the accompanying of three classes from the Professional Educational Track as a teacher of three different courses, over one school year. The investigation performed was inspired by the questions and limitations encountered by the author during the internship and in seeking to better understand some assumptions on how the current professional training of teachers and educational plan are promoting the learning experience of modern students and their development. This year of Professional Internship was an important stage for the pre-service teacher, as every experience, conflict and victory were fundamental for her personal and social development. This Internship Report highlights how the prototype of the professional identity of the student was built under a context marked by the emotional turmoil and the search for meaning. |
