Resumo: In this article, we intend to show that Micraelius, a theologian and rhetorician, uses his manual to indoctrinate his students and provide them with rhetorical tools which will in turn allow them to become the defenders of their own doctrines. In keeping with the principles of Reformation, he uses rhetoric at the service of the Holy Scriptures. On the other hand, he distances himself from other progymnasmata manuals, since he doesn’t resort to a fully developed example, like Aphtonius, but rather provides indications that students will have to follow to carry out the suggested activity which will be performed in group and not individually.

Fiel a los principios reformadores usa la retórica al servicio de las Sagradas Escrituras. Por otro lado, se distancia de otros manuales de progymnasmata, porque no utiliza un ejemplo desarrollado, como Aftonio, sino que solo presenta indicaciones que los alumnos han de seguir para elaborar la actividad propuesta que será realizada no de forma individual, sino en grupo.Dans cet article, nous montrons que Micraeluis, théologien et rhétoricien, se sert de son manuel pour endoctriner ses élèves et leur fournir des outils rhétoriques qui leur permettront de devenir des défenseurs de la nouvelle doctrine. Fidèle aux principes réfor-mateurs, il met la rhétorique au service des Ecritures Sacrées. Par ailleurs, il se distancie d’autres manuels de progymnasmata parce qu’il n’utilise pas d’exemple développé, comme Afton, ne présentant que les indications que les élèves devront suivre pour élaborer l’activité proposée, qui ne sera pas réalisée individuellement mais en groupe.Neste artigo, mostramos que Micraélio, teólogo e retórico, usa o seu manual para doutrinar seus alunos e para lhes fornecer ferramentas retóricas que lhes permitirão tornar-se defensoras da nova doutrina. Fiel aos princípios de reforma, ele usa a retórica a serviço das Sagradas Escrituras.
