There are different ways to schematize the directions and advances in Mathematical Modelling in Mathematics Education. Among them, there is the research have being carried out. Thus, from a metasearch project, we focus as analysis material research the abstracts published in the V International Seminar of Research in Mathematics Education, GT10, Mathematical Modelling, under the question: What show the abstracts published in V SIPEM on Research in Mathematical Modelling in Mathematics Education? Our research approach is qualitative according to the phenomenological view. How we interpret the data is hermeneutic nature. On the occasion of which has already been done in the research, we present in this article the following categories: 1) About the institutions; 2) On the authorship; 3) On the stage / level of research; 4) About the internal context of the research; 5) On the approach of the research; 6) On the modes of data collection; 7) About modes of analysis used; 8) About the focused and sought in the research and 9) About answered in the investigations. Each one is described and interpreted in the light of the question and the context of the current research.
