Resumo: The present article has the main objective of contribute with the construction of a Brazilian scenario of academic production in the fields of Organizational Communication and Public Relations. More precisely, this paper intend to map which authors, countries and states influence the most those two areas of study. To achieve that, were analyzed 321 scientific articles published in all annals of the seven edition of the Brazilian Conference of Organizational Communication and Public Relations (Abrapcorp), the biggest event of these fields in the country. Among the articles there were 5196 academic quotes and 5614 different authors. The results showed that main references used are from Brazil and also specifically from the areas of Organizational Communication and Public Relations, with the exception of the French sociologist Edgar Morin, who occupies the second position in the ranking of the most influential authors only behind Margarida Kunsch. After Brazil, EUA and France appear as the countries that contribute the most with the academic production. Between Brazilian states, the ones with most citations are those who have post-graduation programs and recognized groups of research, such as São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul and Minas Gerais.
