Resumo: | In the project work we present here we develop different plastic perspectives around drawing and narrative. Along a path that culminates in this present text an exhibition is thought of and created as a circumstance of action, thought and contemplation and in which three aspects of thematic circumscription are highlighted: the fugue, the feminine and the landscape. The generating force of this construction will be the context in which the singular events of a true story took place that drove the project to issues that we consider relevant in the feminine universe. The risks (traversing natural and human landscapes) that the protagonist Laura consciously ran inspired us to make our own aesthetic, conceptual and theoretical decisions in a project that forced us to penetrate the heart of human emotion. Looking at the landscape with uncertainties gave us the possibility to think of a graphic and textual memory where the transitions between the ambiguous states of the landscape and the inhabited spaces are mapped. The multiple expressions and remediation between drawing, painting, photography and writing promoted the creation of a unifying instant. Simultaneously with the written record of the narrated history we constructed a set of images that led us to the place of escape and the consequent transfer to the plastic register. It was necessary to think of the landscape as a pictorial genre, exploring a dialogue between practice and theory, emphasizing the landscape, defining it as a place of belonging and recognition, but also as a space for freedom. We sought after an imagined landscape inside the lived landscape that could be an emotional space, referring to a time of action and a place where the being manifests itself in all its power |
