Planeamento do Ciclo de Vida do Produto com Objetivo de Reduzir o Tempo de Planeamento dos Retalhistas através da utilização de uma framework

Resumo: | In a consumer society where consumer is to the forefront, it is imperative for retail companies to provide services in a quick, reliable and different way, without compromising their quality. For a more demanding and increasingly informed target audience, retailers are surrounded, daily, by decisions they must make, to ensure the companys sustainability without compromising customer satisfaction. One of the prevailing markets in the global economy is the fashion market and it is precisely about it and how decisive are the tools that help its growth that will focus the present dissertation. Derived from the vast number of information and transactions inherent to the activity, this industry is characterized by its high degree of complexity. A simple erroneous decision like a transaction amount of an article to its supplier may lead to the existence of superfluous costs which compromise the economic structure of the same. To avoid these costs, Information Technology steps up as a powerful tool capable of retaining and analysing large amounts of data from which vital information can be extracted and managed for the growth and sustainable development of the companies. In this way, it is then possible to successfully ensure the monitoring of the growing evolution of the market, accompanied by the ability to successfully face the new challenges, above all by innovating in the face of competition. Along with these needs, come to the surface Information Technology companies dedicated toretail services. This is the case of Oracle that stands out as one of the prominent references in the world of technologies that help the retail business. The companys services provide a wide range of solutions whose primary objective is to satisfy all the needs of the retailer, using data analysis and retention tools. These tools provide continuous improvement of the tasks performed by the retailers in their so demanding everyday. This continuous improvement is possible through the deployment of new retail suites of solutions that ensure the constant renewal of the tools functionalities for retailers. On this basis, new companies are born, whose core business focuses on the offer and continuous improvement of technological services for retail. It is in this technological niche that Wipro is inserted, which will be the largest and most prominent vehicle for the work of the present dissertation. Based on this thematic register, the main objective of this dissertation is to create a framework capable of helping to plan the creation and launch of new products which, in turn, intends to reduce the time allocated to it by the responsible employees. The successful implementation of this tool will translate into added value for the company, which will observe the time spent on the planning tasks being reduced which, in turn, will represent a considerable increase in their productivity. |
