Resumo: Throughout his 40-year career as a film actor Guaracy Rodrigues (1943-2006) generally had only minor roles, which did not prevent him from being a possible co-author of the sequences in which he intervened, often changing its tone due to his presence on the scene. This article intends to analyze Guará's (as it was better known) cinematic path, observing the gestural, physical and formal constants that made him unique in the Brazilian cinema and for which he would be constantly called to perform.
