Resumo: The work aims to study the recovery of public information on scientific research involving CRISPR/Cas9 financed and available in the databese of funding agencies, in order to think about conditions for the public justification of biotechnological applications in society. Using a hypothetico-deductive approach, we intend to study the biotechnology CRISPR/Cas9 in a historical-evolutionary perspective, considering its potential for society and encompassing the reflection on the ethical aspects that permeat their respective risks; applying the technique of text or data analysis called text mining, to analyze the evolution of CRISPR/Cas9 in Brazil. The conclusion is that mecanisms such as the Citizen Information Service, regulated by the Law on Access to Information, in some cases, may not be efficient for the retrieval of informatin available from development agencies in Brazil.

Utilizando-se o método de abordagem hipotético-dedutivo, estuda-se a biotecnologia CRISPR/Cas9 em um plano histórico-evolutivo em face de suas potencialidades à sociedade, englobando a reflexão sobre os aspectos éticos que permeiam seus respectivos riscos; recorre-se à técnica de análise de textos ou dados denominada Mineração de textos, para analisar a evolução de CRISPR/Cas9 no Brasil.
