Resumo: | This article addresses a series of essential reflections on the concept of hospital pedagogy, its approach and emphasis on the game, adding some comments on the relevance of the hospital educator role from the experience observed at the Delfina Torres Viuda de Concha Hospital in the city of emeralds. Providing pedagogical care to hospitalized children allows them not to fall behind in their studies, with this they will be able to keep up with their years of study, taking advantage of the time and resources provided to them during their stay in the hospital. The research is based on the method of content analysis and the inductive-deductive method to develop a series of analyzes and reflections on the topics addressed, stating that the province of Esmeraldas does not have a program of hospital pedagogical care, aimed at hospitalized patients, The general objective was to analyze the expectation of hospital pedagogical care in the province of Esmeraldas, as well as to determine the hospital pedagogical situation of the province of Esmeraldas. It is concluded that the disease does not remove the subject status of these children, so they have the same educational right as other children and that is why hospital pedagogy seeks to guarantee compliance with it. |

El brindar una atención pedagógica a niños/as hospitalizados les permite no atrasarse en sus estudios, con esto ellos podrán ir a la par con sus años de estudio aprovechando el tiempo y los recursos que se les brinda durante su estadía en el hospital. La investigación está basada en el método de análisis de contenido y el inductivo-deductivo para desarrollar una serie de análisis y reflexiones sobre los tópicos abordados, manifestando que la provincia de Esmeraldas no cuenta con un programa de atención pedagógica hospitalaria, dirigido a los pacientes hospitalizados, el objetivo general fue el de analizar la expectativa de la atención pedagógica hospitalaria en la provincia de Esmeraldas así mismo determinar la situación pedagógica hospitalaria de la provincia de Esmeraldas. Se concluye que la enfermedad no retira la condición de sujeto a estos niños, por lo que presentan el mismo derecho educativo que otros niños y es por ello que la pedagogía hospitalaria busca garantizar el cumplimiento de este.Este artigo aborda uma série de reflexões essenciais sobre o conceito de pedagogia hospitalar, sua abordagem e ênfase no jogo, acrescentando alguns comentários sobre a relevância do papel do educador hospitalar a partir da experiência observada no Hospital Delfina Torres Viuda de Concha, na cidade de esmeraldas. O atendimento pedagógico à criança hospitalizada permite que ela não fique para trás em seus estudos, com isso poderá acompanhar seus anos de estudo, aproveitando o tempo e os recursos que lhe são disponibilizados durante sua permanência no hospital. A pesquisa baseia-se no método de análise de conteúdo e no método indutivo-dedutivo para desenvolver uma série de análises e reflexões sobre os temas abordados, afirmando que a província de Esmeraldas não possui um programa de atendimento pedagógico hospitalar, voltado para pacientes internados, O objetivo geral foi analisar a expectativa de atendimento pedagógico hospitalar na província de Esmeraldas, bem como determinar a situação pedagógica hospitalar da província de Esmeraldas.
