Effective digital skills for the development of meaningful virtual classes during covid-19

Resumo: This article is an evaluation of the teaching digital competences for the use of virtual tools during the work-at-home modality by Covid-19. Having started classes electronically, without adequate training in digital skills, triggered a series of inconveniences in the educational system; among them, prolonged student discouragement, school dropouts and poor development of skills with performance criteria. This reality threatens to create a delay in this student generation of two to three years, affecting the principle of quality and equality of education in the midst virtuality, effective tools must be known and used to achieve meaningful learning. The methodology that was applied was qualitative research, the presentation of the result was carried out through descriptive statistics, a semi-structured base survey was applied to 21 teachers to know what skills handle and which of them they apply in their virtual classrooms. The result of the survey allowed us to achieve our research objective, which was to know which areas of digital competences present weaknesses, affecting educational quality.  At the end, the strategies to be taken to ensure comprehensive training are suggested by using telematic tools effectively.

El haber empezado las clases de forma telemática, sin una adecuada capacitación en competencias digitales, desencadenó en el sistema educativo una serie de inconvenientes; entre ellos, desánimo estudiantil prolongado, deserción escolar y escaso desarrollo de las destrezas con criterios de desempeño. Esta realidad amenaza con generar un atraso en esta generación estudiantil de dos a tres años, afectando el principio de calidad e igualdad de la educación. Para generar una educación de calidad en medio de la virtualidad se deben conocer y usar las herramientas efectivas para lograr aprendizajes significativos.  La metodología que se aplicó fue investigación cuantitativa, la presentación de los resultados se realizó por medio de la estadística descriptiva, se aplicó una encuesta de base semi estructurada a 21 docentes para conocer qué competencias manejan y cuáles de ellas aplican en sus salones de clases virtuales. El resultado de la encuesta permitió alcanzar nuestro objetivo de investigación, el cual era conocer que áreas de competencias digitales presentan debilidades, afectando la calidad educativa. Al final se sugiere las estrategias a tomar para asegurar la formación integral utilizando de forma efectiva las herramientas telemáticas.Este artigo apresenta uma avaliação do ensino de habilidades digitais para o uso de ferramentas virtuais durante a modalidade de trabalho em casa devido à Covid-19. O início das aulas online, sem formação adequada em competências digitais, desencadeou uma série de problemas no sistema educativo; entre eles, o desânimo prolongado do aluno, a evasão escolar e o baixo desenvolvimento de habilidades com critérios de desempenho. Esta realidade ameaça gerar um atraso nesta geração de alunos de dois para três anos, afetando o princípio da qualidade e igualdade da educação. Para gerar educação de qualidade em meio à virtualidade, ferramentas eficazes devem ser conhecidas e utilizadas para alcançar uma aprendizagem significativa. A metodologia aplicada foi pesquisa quantitativa, a apresentação dos resultados foi realizada por meio de estatística descritiva, foi aplicada uma pesquisa semiestruturada a 21 professores para saber quais competências eles manipulam e quais aplicam em suas salas de aula virtuais. O resultado do inquérito permitiu-nos atingir o nosso objetivo de investigação, que era saber quais as áreas das competências digitais que apresentam fragilidades, afetando a qualidade educativa.
