Nursing care process applied to a patient undergoing craniotomy for meningioma: clinical case study

Resumo: | OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this research is to apply the Nursing Care Process (PAE) in the postoperative stage of the patient undergoing craniotomy. METHOD: Analysis of the application of the Nursing Care Process (PAE) through the study of a clinical case of a patient undergoing meningioma craniotomy, where priority is given to ECP and interventions by health personnel. The data analysis will be carried out through a descriptive design with a qualitative approach, since it is intended to demonstrate the knowledge about craniotomy care, which will allow determining if the patient received the appropriate care for their recovery. RESULTS: With the application of the PAE, an improvement in the care of health personnel in patients undergoing craniotomy is achieved in order to focus care on the main causes of medical complications and provide optimal care in these patients and at the same time lay the foundations of prioritized care in this intervention that is very common in the hospital field. CONCLUSIONS: it is important to prioritize those care that mean care oriented more to the risk of possible alterations or pathologies adjacent to the surgery, then take into account the real factors since the patient will leave the surgical intervention slightly compensated and the nursing objective is to maintain and improve that state of the patient through the Nursing Care Process (PAE), hierarchizing the fundamental needs. |

OBJETIVO: Esta investigación tiene como propósito aplicar el Proceso de Atención Enfermero (PAE) en la etapa postoperatoria del paciente sometido a craneotomía. MÉTODO: Análisis de la aplicación del Proceso de Atención de Enfermería (PAE) mediante el estudio de un caso clínico de paciente sometido a craneotomía por meningioma, en donde prioriza el PAE e intervenciones por parte del personal de salud. El análisis de datos se realizará mediante un diseño descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo, ya que se pretende evidenciar el conocimiento acerca de los cuidados craneotomía, lo cual permitirá determinar si el paciente recibió el cuidado adecuado para su recuperación. RESULTADOS: Con la aplicación del PAE se logra una mejora en la atención del personal de salud en pacientes sometidos a craneotomía con el fin de enfocar el cuidado en las principales causas de complicaciones médicas y brindar un óptimo cuidado en dichos pacientes y a la vez dejar sentadas las bases de los cuidados priorizados en esta intervención que es muy común en el campo hospitalario. CONCLUSIONES: es importante priorizar aquellos cuidados que signifiquen el cuidado orientado más al riesgo de posibles alteraciones o patologías adyacentes a la cirugía, luego tomar en cuenta los factores reales ya que el paciente va a salir de la intervención quirúrgica levemente compensado y el objetivo de enfermería es mantener y mejorar ese estado del paciente mediante el Proceso de Atención de Enfermería (PAE), jerarquizando las necesidades fundamentales.O cuidado ao paciente pós-operatório é um desafio para a enfermagem considerando as limitações atuais como infraestrutura, treinamento e gravidade do paciente, por isso neste trabalho está documentado o cuidado priorizado ao estado do paciente submetido à craniotomia por meningioma , para que os profissionais obtenham um guia para orientar seu processo de cuidar de enfermagem. OBJETIVO: Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo aplicar o Processo de Cuidado de Enfermagem (PAE) no pós-operatório do paciente submetido à craniotomia. MÉTODO: Análise da aplicação do Processo de Cuidado de Enfermagem (PAE) por meio do estudo de um caso clínico de um paciente submetido a craniotomia por meningioma, onde são priorizados o PAE e as intervenções dos profissionais de saúde. A análise dos dados será realizada por meio de um desenho descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, pois se pretende demonstrar o conhecimento sobre os cuidados com a craniotomia, o que permitirá determinar se o paciente recebeu os cuidados adequados para sua recuperação. RESULTADOS: Com a aplicação do PAE, obtém-se uma melhora no atendimento da equipe de saúde em pacientes submetidos a craniotomia, a fim de focar o atendimento nas principais causas de complicações médicas e proporcionar o melhor atendimento a esses pacientes e, ao mesmo tempo, deixar sentado o bases do cuidado priorizado nesta intervenção que é muito comum no âmbito hospitalar.
