Distributed generation with renewable energy sources in the Portoviejo parish - Ecuador

Resumo: The objective of this study was to analyze the implementation of distributed generation with renewable energy sources in the Portoviejo parish, Ecuador. To fulfill this purpose, a bibliographic review of works published in reliable databases was carried out, a qualitative methodology and the technique of content analysis of the sources consulted were applied. SE took into account criteria of relevance, pertinence, contributions and year of publication between 2018 and 2022; however, works from years prior to those mentioned were included, given the significant contributions to this study. The results obtained indicated that distributed generation is an energy saving process, a strategy considered in the planning of the Ecuadorian electricity sector that provides benefits to the environment as it allows the use of clean energy, it is a tool for continuous improvement for the generation, distribution and energy quality, it was also obtained that the implementation of distributed generation with renewable energy sources in the Portoviejo parish is perfectly viable and feasible to use, it only requires adequate planning and investment, which contributes positively in the process of improvement of the energy service of the locality.

Para cumplimentar este propósito se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de trabajos publicados en base de datos confiables, se aplicó una metodología cualitativa y la técnica de análisis de contenido de las fuentes consultadas. SE tuvo en cuenta criterios de relevancia, pertinencia, aportes y año de publicación entre 2018 a 2022; sin embargo, se incluyó trabajos de años anteriores a los mencionados, dado los aportes significativos para este estudio. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que la generación distribuida es un proceso de ahorro energético, una estrategia considerada en la planificación del sector eléctrico ecuatoriano que otorga beneficios al ambiente por cuanto permita la utilización de energías limpias, es una herramienta de mejora continua para la generación, distribución y calidad de energía, también se obtuvo que la implementación de la generación distribuida con fuentes renovables de energía en la parroquia Portoviejo es perfectamente viable y factible de usar, solo se requiere de una planificación e inversión adecuada, que contribuya de manera positiva en el proceso de mejoramiento del servicio energético de la localidad.O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a implementação da geração distribuída com fontes de energia renovável na freguesia de Portoviejo, Equador. Para cumprir esse propósito, foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica de trabalhos publicados em bases de dados confiáveis, foi aplicada uma metodologia qualitativa e a técnica de análise de conteúdo das fontes consultadas. SE levou em consideração critérios de relevância, pertinência, contribuições e ano de publicação entre 2018 e 2022; no entanto, foram incluídos trabalhos de anos anteriores aos mencionados, dadas as significativas contribuições para este estudo.
