Resumo: The article’s proposal is to present the development process of a digital gamebook, as well as its results, made in partnership with the Biology department from UESC - State University of Santa Cruz (Ilhéus, Bahia) and the Digital Games Engineering Course from PUC Minas (Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais). The goal was to inform and raise awareness about the COVID-19 pandemic, especially among the youth. It was necessary to approach themes such as the forms of infection, vaccines and prevention in a playful and creative form, resulting in a Serious Game with a medieval theme that is set inside the human body. The gamebook, which is available for free, uses interactivity and choice-making to raise awareness about the consequences of misinformation in the context of a pandemic that, to this moment, has made more than 6.87 million victims, and to place the player in the position of an active agent during the learning experience.
