The function of a collaborative group in the overcoming challenges faced by the beginners mathematics teachers

Resumo: This article is the result of reflections and unleashed studies by a group which takes on collaborative characeristics, started from Programa Observatório da Educação (OBEDUC) and aims to identify and describe the challenges faced by two Mathematics teachers who are beginning their careers and evidence the function of a collaborative group in coping and overcoming of these challenges. Therefore the memorials of two Mathematics teachers were analyzed, members of the analyzed group, who were in the beginning of the career. The realized analysis evidence that the dilemas face by them were similar, however the overcoming was distinct, because it was possible to note that the professional insertion of one of the teachers culminated with his insertion in the group and this teacher had different subsidies for the coping of the conflict with reality, so eloquent during this period of professional teacher development. The results signal the importance of the different training spaces, as the collaborative groups for example, as support for beginner teachers besides pointing the necessity of expansion of Public Policies aimed at teaching training and beginner teachers.

Para tanto foram analisados os memoriais de dois professores de matemática, membros do grupo analisado, que estavam em início de carreira. A análise realizada evidencia que os dilemas enfrentados por eles foram semelhantes, entretanto a superação foi distinta isso pois, foi possível observar que a inserção profissional de um dos professores culminou com sua inserção no grupo e que este professor teve diferentes subsídios para o enfrentamento do “choque com a realidade”, tão expressivo nesta fase do desenvolvimento profissional docente.
