Resumo: In this text it is presented an interview with Prof. Dr. Saddo Ag Almouloud, one of the references in Didactics of Mathematics (DDM) in Brazil and abroad. Born in Mali - Africa, Prof. Dr. Saddo has been living in Brazil since 1994. He maintained a relationship with the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC/SP) from 1994 to 2020, and is currently a collaborating professor at the Federal University of Pará and a visiting professor at the Federal University of Bahia. The interview begins with an account of the researcher's academic trajectory, his involvement with the DDM and his coming to Brazil. Next, the origins and dissemination of DDM as a field of research in Brazil are discussed, as well as the main advances of DDM; its fundamental contributions to the pedagogical practice of Mathematics teachers are approached, and suggestions are presented so that teachers can lean on DDM assumptions for their classes.

Natural do Mali - África, o Prof. Dr. Saddo habita no Brasil desde 1994. Manteve vínculo com a Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC/SP) no período de 1994 a 2020. Atualmente é professor colaborador da Universidade Federal do Pará e visitante da Universidade Federal da Bahia. Inicia-se a entrevista com o relato da trajetória acadêmica do pesquisador, de seu envolvimento com a DDM e de sua vinda para o Brasil.
