Resumo: | This text presents an interview with the researcher and teacher Regina Maria Pavanello, who is a reference in Geometry Teaching. The objective is to highlight and record the vast influence of the said teacher on members of the community related to Mathematics Education in Brazil, mainly in Paraná, and in particular to research in the field of Geometry. The text begins with an introduction and a brief presentation by the teacher, followed by the transcription of the interview, which was based on a semi-structured proposal and took place remotely through the Google Meet platform. Topics were addressed regarding the teacher's performance with regard to Mathematics Education and Geometry Teaching. In her report, Professor Regina highlighted, among other factors, the importance of strengthening the initial and continuing education of Mathematics teachers, and the need for constant struggle to enhance the teaching career. |

El objetivo es resaltar y registrar la vasta influencia de dicho profesor en miembros de la comunidad relacionada con la Educación Matemática en Brasil, principalmente en Paraná, y en particular a la investigación en el campo de la Geometría. El texto comienza con una introducción y una breve presentación por parte del docente, seguida de la transcripción de la entrevista, la cual se basó en una propuesta semiestructurada y se realizó de forma remota a través de la plataforma Google Meet. Se abordaron temas sobre el papel del docente en relación con la Educación Matemática y la Enseñanza de la Geometría. En su informe, la profesora Regina destacó, entre otros factores, la importancia de fortalecer la formación inicial y continua de los docentes de Matemáticas, y la necesidad de una lucha constante para potenciar la carrera docente.Apresenta-se neste texto, uma entrevista realizada com a professora e pesquisadora Regina Maria Pavanello, que é uma das referências em Ensino de Geometria. O objetivo é o de destacar e registrar a vasta influência da proferida professora a integrantes da comunidade relacionada à Educação Matemática no Brasil, principalmente no Paraná, e em particular às pesquisas no âmbito da Geometria. O texto se inicia com uma introdução e uma breve apresentação da professora, seguida da transcrição da entrevista, que foi elaborada a partir de uma proposta semiestruturada e ocorreu de forma remota pela plataforma Google Meet. Foram abordados na entrevista, temas relacionados a atuação da professora Regina no que concerne à Educação Matemática e o Ensino de Geometria.
