Comprehending the I Digital Videos and Mathematics Education Festival

Resumo: This paper aims to show how the 1st Festival of Digital Videos and Mathematics Education Festival was created. This festival is one of the actions linked to a broader research project. We highlight how the proposal to carry out festivals emerged, how we applied for grants, the interactions between everyone involved and the E-licm@t-Tube team throughout 2016 and 2017, in order to show how the collective work involved in its organization. Statistics from the 1st Festival - such as number of submissions in each category, number of participants by states – are presented. Although we present statistics, the research is in general qualitative, as the instruments for data collection are questionnaires and interviews with people involved. Data analysis has been developed using tools such as triangulation of data in order to understand particularities of this first festival and the view of participants regarding this new form of communicating mathematics. Some results for the major project were obtained outside the 1st Festival, in local festivals for example. With this new virtual and larger Festival, we hope to have created an environment to fulfill the research aims of the larger research project.

Para eso, destacamos la manera cómo surgió la propuesta de realización del festival, los intentos de busca de patrocinio y las interacciones entre los miembros del equipo E-licm@-Tube durante los diferentes momentos entre los años 2016 y 2017 permitiéndonos evidenciar el trabajo colectivo realizado. Relatamos algunas de las estadísticas del I Festival tales como: número de propuestas sometidas para cada categoría, número de estados de donde provenían los participantes y algunos de sus relatos, además de discutir un conjunto de investigaciones relacionadas. La metodología de investigación fue cualitativa, utilizando cuestionarios y entrevistas con las personas involucradas como principales instrumentos para la producción de datos y cuyo análisis ocurrió mediante procesos de triangulación favorables a la comprensión de las particularidades de este primer festival. Resultados de investigación ya fueron obtenidos por fuera del I Festival mediante actividades en aulas de clase y de otros festivales locales. Con este ambiente creado, esperamos desarrollar un escenario para la investigación que nos permita lograr los objetivos trazados del proyecto más amplio.Este artigo visa apresentar o processo de criação, divulgação e realização do I Festival de Vídeos Digitais e Educação Matemática, vinculado a um projeto de pesquisa de maior envergadura. Para isso, destaca-se como surgiu a proposta de se realizar festivais, as tentativas de auxílios, as interações entre os envolvidos e a equipe do E-licm@t-Tube nos diferentes momentos ao longo de 2016 e 2017, de modo a evidenciar o trabalho coletivo. Relata-se as estatísticas do I Festival tais como: o número de submissões em cada categoria, número de estados participantes, alguns relatos dos participantes, além de apresentar pesquisas relacionadas ao I Festival. A metodologia de pesquisa é qualitativa, de modo que os instrumentos para a produção de dados são questionários e entrevistas com os envolvidos e a análise dos dados ocorre por meio da triangulação de dados, para se entender as particularidades desse primeiro festival.
