Resumo: | Learning materials aim to assist the process of construction of knowledge by the student, bringing reality closer and applying theories that were previously learned in class. Many technologies may be adapted to be used in class, among them is theMicrobial Fuel Cell (MFC) that aims to break down the organic matter by means of bacteria, decontaminating water and producing electricity. The MFC is easily adapted to the reality of the class and can be handled by both students and teacher, providing a significant construction of knowledge. The present study stablished the MFC as a learning material in the teaching of microbiology, chemistry and physics to technical, high school and undergraduate students, using low cost materials to guarantee the access to this resource |
