Neglected parasitosis in Elementary School textbooks’ of PNLD 2014

Resumo: The dissemination of information about the neglected parasitosis in textbooks is a relevant strategy in their control, since these are resources widely used in the classroom. Thus, the aim was to analyze the textual and visual resources about parasitosis neglected in science textbooks of the 6th and 7th years proposed by the PNLD 2014. Three books of the 6th and 2 of the 7th year were analyzed with evaluation forms. Neglected parasitosis were mainly contemplated in the 7th year textbooks. Summarized and incorrect approaches were observed in textbooks of both years. The visual features evidenced were, predominantly, schematic in all the books. Therefore, these results demonstrate that the evaluated contents were approached in a limited way in order to be used as theoretical support in science classes

Así, el objetivo fue analizar los recursos textuales y visuales sobre parásitos desatendidos en los libros de texto de ciencia de 6º y 7º años propuestos por el PNLD 2014. Se analizaron tres libros del 6º y dos del 7º año con formularios de evaluación. Las parasitosis desatendidas se consideraron principalmente en los trabajos de 7º grado. Se observaron enfoques resumidos e incorrectos en copias de ambas series. Los recursos visuales evidenciados fueron, predominantemente, esquemáticos en todos los libros. Por tanto, estos resultados demuestran que los contenidos evaluados fueron abordados de forma limitada para ser utilizados como soporte teórico en las clases de ciencias.A divulgação de informações sobre as parasitoses negligenciadas nos livros didáticos é uma estratégia relevante em seu controle pelo fato de estes serem recursos muito utilizados em sala de aula. Assim, objetivou-se analisar os recursos textuais e visuais sobre as parasitoses negligenciadas em livros didáticos de ciências do 6º e 7º anos propostos pelo PNLD 2014. Foram analisados três livros do 6º e dois do 7º ano com fichas avaliativas. As parasitoses negligenciadas foram contempladas principalmente nas obras do 7º ano. Abordagens resumidas e incorretas foram observadas em exemplares de ambas as séries. Os recursos visuais evidenciados foram, predominantemente, esquemáticos em todos os livros.
