UMA HISTÓRIA DO ENSINO DE MATEMÁTICA NO MUNICÍPIO DE PRESIDENTE MÉDICI RONDÔNIA (1972 – 1999)

O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar uma História da Matemática Escolar no atual município de Presidente Médici a partir da primeira escola fundada, “ESCOLA ISOLADA 15 DE NOVEMBRO”, criada pelo decreto nº 627 de 26 de setembro de 1972 no km 403 da BR 364 do município de Porto Velho – RO. A análise realizada ao investigarmos historicamente a disciplina escolar de Matemática desta escola encontra-se inserida no campo de pesquisa da História, em particular da História da Educação Matemática, sendo assim, utilizaremos como aporte teórico-metodológico as ideias advindas dos autores Marc Bloch e Jacques Le Goff, ambos pertencentes à Escola dos Annales, juntamente com o conceito de vulgata de André Chervel e os escritos de Philippe Joutard sobre a utilização da História Oral. As fontes de pesquisa foram os documentos e testemunhos diretamente ligados à escola pesquisada. Nosso estudo permeou o intramuros da história educativa no Município de Presidente Médici, desvelando elementos pertencentes a documentos e memórias de pessoas que fazem parte dessa história, compreendido entre 1972 – 1999. Ao finalizarmos esta pesquisa, trouxemos à tona fragmentos do processo de ensino de Matemática que podem enriquecer os conhecimentos históricos da Matemática Escolar preservando a memória regional.   A HISTORY OF TEACHING MATHEMATICS IN THE MUNICIPALITYOF MEDICAL PRESIDENT RONDÔNIA (1972 - 1999) ABSTRACTThe aim of this paper is to present a History of School Mathematics in the current municipality of Presidente Médici from the first school founded, “SCHOOL ISOLATED NOVEMBER 15”, created by Decree No. 627 of September 26, 1972 at km 403 of BR 364 municipality of Porto Velho – RO. The analysis carried out by investigating historically the school subject of Mathematics of this school is inserted in the field of research of History, in particular of the Historyof Mathematical Education, so we will use as theoretical and methodological support the ideas coming from the authors Marc Bloch and Jacques Le Goff both belonging to the Annales School along with André Chervel's vulgate concept and Philippe Joutard's writings on the use of Oral History. The sources of research were the documents and testimonies directly linked to the researched school. Our study permeated the intramuros of educational history in the Municipalityof Presidente Médici, revealing elements belonging to documents and memories of people who are part of this history, comprised between 1972–1999. At the end of this research, we brought out fragments of the process of teaching mathematics. that can enrich the historical knowledge of school mathematics while preserving the regional memory.
